Some of our Meadow Wood Students |
We have riding programs for people of all ages and levels...
For novice level students,
the basics of horse care are
covered,
including grooming, and saddling
and bridling a horse. Students
at this level are taught in
one-on-one 35 minute sessions
until they build confidence,
balance, and learn
the foundation riding techniques.
More advanced students build
on the riding techniques and
work toward honing their horsemanship
skills, and possibly competing in the show ring.
We also give lessons to those who are interested in driving horses.
Group lessons are available for students that have completed the novice level.
Each year, we offer the Horsemanship Summer Day Camp. The camp is for children between the
ages of 6 - 12, and improves horsemanship skills, horse care, and promotes having fun with the horses.
Instruction is given by Nancy Troutman and Erin Bolster. Read on for more information on our instructors and other staff.
